That theater does look incredible. I'm ready for a vacation too, but I want to travel, not just sit at home like I usually do. I'd drag the family around Europe if I had the funds.

oh that was wonderful. i too am fairly content and glad with the person i am and often times i wonder how many others feel the same. and how any of us get so consumed with our wants and things that we don't actually want. well written

oh and i too adored pride and prejudice. i was moved by munich and appreciated it greatly. have you seen match point?

That was insightful and very well written. Some fill that want with alcohol, some with sex, some with religion. It seems you've figured out it's better to leave that want empty, rather than fill it with things that don't satisfy. Good stuff.

Distinct, crisp imagery. I also like how you chose the child to hold the POV and his interaction with the mother. The repitition of the kneading was subtle and done well. He also seemed to have a care-free or ambivalent attitude towards the events around him until the emotion of his mother and then the tone grew darker. Well written.

You write because you must. You write for your Muse first and an audience second. Your audience will whisper in your ear to compromise your voice, to weaken your resolve, to speak what they wish to hear. Your Muse will challenge you to be true to your words; she will encourage you to be unique and chastize you when you take the road to popularity.

Kind of a different life than the one I'm familiar with. I like the line "Conservativeness and blushing makes a person hungry..." It sounds like the first line of a novel.
